Living with eczema and sensitive skin my whole life
My name is Janna and I have lived with eczema since childhood. I know the pain of red and dry skin on the face, the frustration of flare ups that appear without warning and the emotional weight of never feeling like you match the idea of what good skin should look like. The physical discomfort is hard, but the impact on confidence and self esteem can be even harder.
Why I created Calma
For years I relied on clinical creams that helped but never made me feel cared for. I wanted something comforting. Something that worked for sensitive skin, eczema prone skin, contact dermatitis on the face and even extremely dry baby skin, but still felt joyful to use. I wanted a moment of calm instead of a reminder of my condition.
That is how Calma began. A gentle skincare brand for people who live with irritated skin and want products that feel both safe and beautiful.
A formula shaped by lived experience
I learned through trial and error which ingredients truly made a difference for my skin. Ceramides to support the skin barrier. Niacinamide to calm irritation. Coriander seed oil to soothe and soften the skin in a way nothing else ever had.
