Hi, I’m Janna — the founder of Calma, a skincare brand born from my own journey with eczema.

For years, I lived with eczema and was prescribed topical steroids as the go-to treatment. Like many, I experienced the harsh reality of Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) — a painful, isolating process that made me realise there’s more to eczema care than just managing symptoms. This personal struggle inspired me to create Calma Ezzence, a gentle, steroid-free, barrier-restoring cream designed to support long-term skin health.

But Calma is much more than just a skincare brand. I wanted to build a community where people with eczema and other skin conditions are truly seen, heard, and supported.
